This picture is a good example because it shows how poor they were financially and how the shack they lived in was made of scrap metal and it looked like it was poorly built. Also this proves the effect of the Great Depression on the African Americans with pay checks being cut and having to live in places with no heat or anything except for themselves.

This is a great picture to show you how an African American family looked like during the Great Depression. This is a great picture for it because it looks like a poor black family who can't really afford to live in a good house. This is a big family that can only afford to live in a one room house that cramms everyone inside. This was probably during the great depression because it is a run down house, that doesn't look sturdy at all, and the people don't have really any money just by looking at the house and their clothes. The parents probably do no make really any money at all, just enough to support the family at the very least.
